Woz and Jobs: phone phreaks
“Steve Wozniak and Steve Jobs talk about their short career building illegal telephone equipment, aka blue boxes.”
This is all the more sad because now that Jobs is on the opposite end, owning the equivalent of “billions of dollars of infrastructure”, he is so disdainful of the jailbreaking and iPhone dev team, the very people who he once was.
Most telling is his line at the end: “If we hadn’t have made blue boxes, there would’ve been no Apple.”
